We welcome new patients to our office, and we treat many problems you may not think are related to simple allergy, using primarily LDA immunotherapy with some other modalities of treatment. For a partial list of many of the conditions we treat with LDA immunotherapy click here. Forouz Jowkar has taken over Dr. Shrader's LDA practice (http://forouzjowkar.com) LDA is used to treat most types of allergy to everything in the air, chemicals we breathe, foods we eat and autoimmune disease. The primary purpose of LDA immunotherapy is to get you well so you don't need to see us any more. LDA works well enough that most patients do indeed get better and don't have to keep coming to see us forever, so that the wait is never too long for you to obtain a new patient appointment. We see many patients with all types of allergy, nutritional and environmental symptoms related to their home, school or work, and I am a member and Past President of the American Academy of Environmental Medicine (AAEM). One of the increasing issues I deal with today is related to mold exposure. It can be devastating for patients and most authorities usually try to laugh it off. We also use nutritional therapy, both oral and intravenous, to treat many illnesses. I developed an intravenous treatment protocol for moderate to severe asthma, and the proof is in a published paper about it in 2004. My new Associate, Forouz Jowkar, can do extensive testing for nutritional status and hormonal conditions for those who need it, and treats with oral nutrients and other modalities as well. We also treat patients who require natural thyroid, cortisol, estrogen, progesterone and testosterone. Most importantly, we use LDA to treat autoimmune diseases of many varieties. This includes all types of autoimmune arthritis (rheumatoid, ankylosing spondylitis, reactive arthritis and others), eosinophilic esophagitis, psoriasis, systemic lupus, interstitial cystitis, dermatitis herpetiformis, ITP, Raynauds and many, many others. We are now beginning to use LDA autologous vaccines, and the results can be dramatic, especially for autoimmune illnesses. If you have more specific questions about conditions we treat or you would like to make an appointment, please contact us by phone (505-424-9172). |
